Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming in each parent's prior marriages. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was a struggle and she did not learn English, hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. In her 16th year she left school and pursued a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress from a very young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
