Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the sweetheart of America after she took home American Idol in the first season. The win not only catapulted her to fame, but also earned the singer a multi-album contract in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since then, she has recorded many album studios. Three have reached the US Billboard 200 charts while the others were only a hair way away. They consider her to be one of the greatest success American Idol artists. She tried her hand at recognition for her different musical themes and styles. She often composed the songs herself. Her work was praised by critics and a number of prestigious awards for her individuality and vocal talent. The most notable accomplishment is the fact that she was awarded three Grammy Awards. In addition to her musical profession, she has also been involved in television and film. She is also the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organizations.
